Flanagan Parks & Recreation

Flanagan’s public pool is an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool attached to the school.

This pool was built by the Park District with funds donated by the late Robert and Bertha Ann Cullen who also provided a trust to perpetuate income to maintain the facility through the years.

The Park District maintains the pool which is available for lap swimming, private parties, and open swimming.

The Village of Flanagan offers many opportunities for recreation. Artesian Park and Legion Lake Park provide wonderful in-town retreats for children and adults.

The village board is in the process of updating all children’s playground equipment.

The community building and a village hall are available for reunions. 4-H club meetings, rummage sales, senior citizens meetings, and many other gatherings.
